Almost every office round the world has the iconic British poster, Keep Calm and Carry On, somewhere on their walls. It’s become a cliche. There are hundreds of versions and thousands of parodies.

The thing is, people and attitudes have changed a lot since 1939 when the poster was first made. The world is a very different a place. So shouldn’t we update a poster with a message for the people of today? People can see the new posters, and print them hi-quality from the site for free.

Hilarious stuff.

The dramatic landscapes and climbing terrain are perfect backdrops to any photograph. When photographer, Trey Ratcliff, decided to make the move to the Queenstown, he took the opportunity to get to know his new home from behind the camera.

Sorting through tens of thousands of photographs he took over the course of 30 days, Ratcliff chose his favorites to create the following timelapse so that he could share his new surroundings with the rest of the world.

He also has a full free ‘How-To’ video (coming soon to be posted on http://www.StuckInCustoms.com) that shows how he did everything, in case you are curious and would like to try something like this yourself.

He is also known as the Youtube Drawing “Guru” for his lifelike drawing abilities often referred to as Realism. He simply places an object on a surface and through fine art depicts that object with very high levels of details, right down to the slightest strokes, creating a very real looking image. Sometimes its even harder to tell which among the two is the real thing!

The Photographs come from the Eric and Louise Franck London Collection, and over two thirds of the 1400-strong image library, created over 20 years, has been donated to the Tate. Curators Helen Delaney and Simon Baker have chosen works by celebrated names such as Elliott Erwitt, Bruce Davidson and Bill Brandt, together with snapshots of the city by lesser known photographers.

Varied and contrasting, there are glimpses of life for the affluent upper and middle classes, as well as shots highlighting the plight of the urban poor, such as Bill Brandt’s arresting ‘Bethnal Green Housewife’, taken in 1937, capturing a scene from an east London doorstep.
